Minimum CRS Score Rises To 471 In Canada’s New Express Entry Draw

On March 04, 2020, Immigration Canada issued 3,900 Invitations to Apply under the Express Entry system. The CRS score of the lowest-ranked candidate invited was 471. This draw was not program specific.

This is the 138th Express Entry draw for 2020. The minimum CRS score was the highest we’ve seen so far in 2020.

What is Express Entry?

Express Entry is an online system used by Immigration to Canada to manage applications for permanent residence. There are 3 economic immigration programs under this system:

  1. Federal Skilled Worker Program
  2. Federal Skilled Trades Program
  3. Canadian Experience Class

Canada’s provinces and territories can also recruit candidates from the Express Entry pool through the Provincial Nominee Program.
