Minimum CRS Score Rises To 470 In Canada’s New Express Entry Draw

On May 29, 2019, Immigration Canada issued 3,350 Invitations to Apply under the Express Entry system. The CRS score of the lowest-ranked candidate invited was 470. This draw was not program specific.

This is the 118th Express Entry draw for 2019. The minimum CRS score was the highest we’ve seen so far in 2019.

What is Express Entry?

Express Entry is an online system used by Immigration to Canada to manage applications for permanent residence. There are 3 economic immigration programs under this system:

  1. Federal Skilled Worker Program
  2. Federal Skilled Trades Program
  3. Canadian Experience Class

Canada’s provinces and territories can also recruit candidates from the Express Entry pool through the Provincial Nominee Program.
