Immigration Canada invites 3,600 in August 2019’s second Express Entry draw


On August 20, 2019, Immigration Canada issued 3,600 Invitations to Apply under the Express Entry system. The CRS score of the lowest-ranked candidate invited was 457 – one of the lowest in 2019. This draw was not program specific.

This is the 124th Express Entry draw for 2019.

What is Express Entry?

Express Entry is an online system used by Immigration to Canada to manage applications for permanent residence. There are 3 economic immigration programs under this system:

  1. Federal Skilled Worker Program
  2. Federal Skilled Trades Program
  3. Canadian Experience Class

Canada’s provinces and territories can also recruit candidates from the Express Entry pool through the Provincial Nominee Program.
