If you’re a foreign worker, skilled professional, tradesperson or a businessman looking for limitless opportunities while enjoying a better lifestyle, then you already know that you need to immigrate to Canada. No need to convince you of something that you probably already know about Canada.

After all, you probably already KNOW that living in Canada will allow you to create a better future not only for yourself but also for your family.

You’ve probably also heard that Canada will be admitting more than 300,000 immigrants starting in 2019.

HERE'S WHAT YOU
MIGHT NOT KNOW

Even if you’re lucky enough to have a good job, high income and hefty savings account where you are right now (lucky you)… being a Canadian immigrant provides:

Safe and secure environment

Canada has been consistently rated as one of the safest and most secure countries in the world. Canadians are known to be polite, friendly people who will say sorry when you bump into them. Time and time again, Canada has shown the world how to be strong and powerful but nice.

Stable Economy

Canada has the 10th largest GDP in the world. It has the fourth highest total estimated value of natural resources, the world's third largest proven petroleum reserves and is the fourth largest exporter of petroleum. It is also the fourth largest exporter of natural gas. Canada is considered an "energy superpower" due to its abundant natural resources and small population.[Source: Wikipedia] There’s plenty of job opportunities in Canada regardless of your age. So you no longer have to worry about getting older and not being able to find a comparable job when your contract as an overseas worker ends.

Excellent Subsidized Healthcare System

Health is wealth. If you get ill, a hefty savings account is often not enough. It is sad to witness friends and relatives from back home get drained of their assets due to illness. The life expectancy in Canada is high because residents have access to a great healthcare system.

Easier Access to Home and Car Ownership

You don’t have to be in the “upper class” to own your own home and drive your own car (or cars) here. Someone who works at McDonald’s in Canada have the ability to purchase a home and drive his own car.

World-Class Education (Free Up to High School)

Some families from countries around the world send their kids to school in Canada and spend tens of thousands of dollars. As a resident here, your kids’ tuition in elementary and high school is free. When they get to university, their tuition fee rate is half the rate of international students. And to top that, post-secondary students here have access to student loans with very minimal interest rates.

Even though the reasons to immigrate to Canada are obvious, the path to doing it successfully is anything but...

APPLY FOR CANADA?
Awesome. But HOW?

Perhaps you’ve made a commitment a while back to start.

You’ve googled information about immigrating to Canada, asked your friends, attended seminars and got excited about moving to Canada.

If you’re super committed, maybe you’ve even taken IELTS!

But even with the best intentions, most aspiring immigrants end up procrastinating, allowing other aspirants swoop in and take their spot while they remain sidelined.

HERE'S WHY ASPIRING IMMIGRANTS DON'T PUSH THROUGH:

Without super clear, step-by-step guidance, most aspirants get completely lost.

The lack of clarity over what they need to do next paralyzes them.

The 5 Myths
that are killing your Canadian immigration dreams:

Myth
01

You’re not qualified
now, so you don’t
have a chance at all

If there’s anything constant with immigration, it’s change.

Those who qualify now, may not qualify later. And those who don’t qualify now, may qualify later!

The most important thing is that you’re ready and have made all the necessary preparations when it’s your time to qualify.

Your window of opportunity may be very short.

Take for example when the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program Occupations in Demand List got updated and it included Dressmakers. They did a draw a few days after which included Dressmakers, then removed it from the list right after the draw. Only those who were on standby, ready with their requirements got a nomination. It took less than a month from the time it got added to the time it got removed from the list. Those who didn’t have IELTS and ECA, didn’t have enough time to comply.

Myth
02

You’re qualified now, so
you can apply anytime

In my over 20 years of practice, I often witness people taking it easy after they're told that they qualify. They don’t submit an application thinking they will always qualify. Sadly, by the time they decided to go ahead with their application, the program they qualified for has changed or is gone.

Often times, the drive to push through is high when life circumstances change – like the country you work for abroad decides to prioritize locals for job placements. BUT, do you wanna wait until this happens before you make a move to secure yourself?

Why do we wait until we’re desperate?

I don’t have the answer to that. It’s human nature I guess. But being aware of that now, you have the power to take the opportunity NOW.

Myth
03

Your IELTS score has to be high

When you apply under the Express Entry system, you’re required to have at least 6.0 in each skill tested in IELTS.

Other immigration programs only need a minimum score of 3.5 or 4.0.

And there are programs where you may not even be required to take IELTS yet.

Myth
04

Canada is not for everyone

Yeah, not everyone would like the lifestyle here in Canada and are better off staying where they are.

But, anyone who has a burning desire to come to Canada has a chance to make it here.

There are so many different programs available for aspiring immigrants. It’s all a matter of finding the program that is most suited for you and how you can get in to that program.

Myth
05

Only those with a job offer can apply for Canada

Truth - having a job offer can boost your points or speed up the processing of your visa to Canada.

Another truth – there are a lot of immigration categories that don’t require you to have a job offer to qualify.

And another truth - just because you don't have a job offer right now, doesn't mean you can't obtain one when you seek for it.

The most important thing is to find you the right immigration program that would best suit your qualifications and to start preparing for it.

The Good News is...

You don’t have to do it alone. If you’ve made it this far, I can tell that your desire to come to Canada is strong. Even though there’s an opportunity for everyone to come to Canada, not everyone makes it here. And the main reason for this: they just don’t know HOW. With your permission, I’d love to take you through the Canadian Immigration process step, by step, by step.
