#29 SINP Accepts Lower English Scores for Canadian Immigration

Saskatchewan’s English proficiency requirement for the International Skilled Worker Occupations in Demand sub-category is much less than that of other immigration programs. However, your English score is not the only requirement to qualify under SINP.

Here are the minimum qualifications that SINP requires from prospective nominees:

  1. Completion of a post-secondary education, training or apprenticeship
  2. One year work experience related to your education in the past 10 years, in an occupation listed in the Occupations-in-Demand list
  3. Language score of at least Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4. IELTS equivalent:
    listening – 4.5
    reading – 3.5
    writing – 4.0
    speaking – 4.0

If you can’t get your score high enough to qualify under Express Entry, the SINP is a great option.
